Scientific Research recommends that feeding a combination of the key nutrients allows them to work together more effectively than any one nutrient alone. Getting the combination right is crucial.
WHAT'S IN THE BAG?
MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) An excellent source of sulphur and great for joint support
Glucosamine HCl. A natural ingredient which is a major component of joint cartilage and joint fluid. We use a Vegetarian Glucosamine, rather than one derived from meat or shellfish.
Boswellia serrata, also known as Frankincense. This is a natural plant extract used for centuries in Indian Ayurvedic medicine to support the joints.
Green Lipped Mussel. A natural source of marine omega 3. Also provides a source of chondroitin.
Rose Hips. An excellent natural source of Vitamins A, C and manganese.
What’s an extract and why do we use them? An extract is a concentrated version of an active ingredient. So instead of having to put in 100g of a herb such as Boswellia, a 100:1 extract would only need 1g to get the same benefit. Clever stuff!
Composition: Boswellia serrata extract, Vegetarian Glucosamine HCl, MSM, fine cut Rosehips, Green Lipped Mussel extract (GLME), Spearmint (natural flavour)
Ingredients per daily feeding rate (36.3g) for a 500kg horse: Glucosamine 10g; Boswellia extract 10g; MSM 5g; Rosehips 5g; Green Lipped Mussel extract 1g.
